Managing my land

I have been reading all about how my favourite walking place is managed. I wondered why the cows are back. I now know that they have a very important job to do eating the scrub in this area so that the flowers can grow. If the flowers grow there will be lots of insects and birds too.

The cattle must have done a good job so far as they have already been moved today from across the track to this field. The peoples from Surrey Wildlife Trust are here with their Land rovers and are very friendly to my people and me as they organise it all.
