A day in Zurich

We took the train to Zurich this morning and spent the day walking round the city.

The sun was still shining as we pulled out of Basel SSB station but by the time we arrived in Zurich it was rather grey and misty which didn't make for great photography!!

By the time we arrived back in Basel, the bright lights of the Christmas markets looked so beautiful as we strolled through the streets back to our hotel.

Off to Luzern tomorrow to see the lake and Mount Palatus.
