One Million Stars

We took a train to stunning Luzern this morning with the intention of a boat trip along the lake and a funicular railway journey up mount Pilatus.

However misty weather prevented us from doing these things, so instead we strolled around the lovely town, took in the wonderful Christmas atmosphere and the beautiful architecture.

Many photos were taken but I decided to use this one for my blip - the symbolic illumination of public squares, buildings and bridges as the population of Switzerland lights a beacon for solidarity and community spirit.
