Scrooge

Just back from a fantastic night watching Tommy Steele as Scrooge in Peterborough.

The reason we went is that my sister Sarah's children Alice and Thomas, who go to a local drama school, were both picked to be part of the child cast. I have to say they were genuinely FANTASTIC. They both had significant parts and Alice - pictured here at the stage door afterwards,...quite a large speaking one! (Though you'll be glad to know she wasn't dressed in her sheep onesie on stage).

Tommy Steele was also brilliant - I confess I cried and there was a standing ovation and everything. On the way home we tried to work out how they did the special effects which were also amazing - certainly going to be a talking point on Christmas Day.

Well done Sarah and Stanley for producing such talented kids and well done Alice and Thomas your Aunty thinks you were "sick" (Ben-talk for great)
