The lawn hoover!

I borrowed our neighbour's lawn hoover today to tidy up the leaves that fall from the beech tree growing in the garden on the other side of the neighbour's garden. It's a very generous tree, sharing something with us pretty much all year round, but autumn brings out it's generosity to the full. Literally. It fills our garden ( and next doors ) with leaves for weeks, which then kills off the lawn which is struggling to survive at the best of times.

Plus, we've got a property inspection on Monday, so we need to be spick and span!
