Man at work
A dreich day but we had a morning of intense cleaning to do as we have a property inspection tomorrow so I was glad it wasn't a nice day! We've never been told that we can't have pets, but then we never asked either, so the cats will be going next door tomorrow for an hour and their food bowls and toys will be hidden away, just incase. I don't want to jeopardise our chances of getting our deposit back when ( fingers crossed ) we move out next month.
Sav's had some useful advice given to him by a new framer that he's been put in touch with. This guy is quite switched on and if his stories are to be believed, he's made a nice living out of his photography and by taking on artists, helping them promote their stuff. He's apparently in a bit of a fix at the moment as has just been stung to the tune of £50,000 ... Anyway, he's very excited about Sav's talent and has advised him to build up a portfolio that they can work with. I hope this guy's genuine, as he certainly talks the talk and makes a lot of sense.
He said that British planes and their pilots carry a lot of interest so Sav has decided to draw an American B25 with no pilot ( because it's shiny! ). He just can't draw if his heart isn't in it. He hasn't even drawn Mary ... must plant that seed, hopefully it will germinate quickly. I guess the old adage is true - you can take an artist to paper, but you can't make him draw!
P.S. this is how it looked in Israel this weekend. Crazy!
