Emerson Point Wedding Day Trials

Today was the wedding of Patricia Molina and David Asmussen and the children in attendance were playing at the wedding site prior to the wedding and they looked so cute. This beautiful natural setting is part of Emerson Point on Snead Island in Palmetto, Florida. It overlooks the mouth of the Manatee River across the way from Desoto Monument and park. The weather could not have been better; it was warm and the breeze was gentle. The clearing let you look out onto the river and the cross in the distance made it seem like we were in God's church! Friends and family gathered to celebrate this union and it was a wonderful day. A meal and carrot cake followed along with music and singing.
