Brazilian Pepper Tree

This tree is a Brazilian Pepper tree and it is an invasive tree in Florida. When they first were introduced to Florida they did not know they were invasive. They come in with red berries around Christmas time. We always cut them and put them in the house like holly. The birds really like them. Often they will eat too many and wander around like they have drunk too many beers.

They are very pretty, but they need to be eradicated as they choke out any other plant. They are one of the most invasive plants I have ever seen.
