Fungal

The winter sunshine on this decaying Birch tree trunk, prone in Common Wood today, with its fungal colony just screamed blip me. Yes I was picking-up again today, it was not the most comfortable day and scenting for the dogs was challenging, but at least it stayed dry for us.
Home now Miller done, venison steak in the pan, a glass or two of red and our feet up!
