La Chua Trail
Met Sefferdog this morning, in Person, for the very first time. Feels like we are old friends though...because of Blipfoto. We watched waves of Sandhill Cranes fly in to join hundreds of their kind already on the ground at a field belonging to the Univ. of FL. Since it was rather overcast and not the very best weather to get good Crane shots we decided to head on over to the La Chua Trail. Wade does a lot of shooting there and I'm no stranger to the place.
We saw a small number of Gators, they are slow to emerge from the water when the weather is very cloudy. The bird varieties were well represented but not in the usual large numbers one often sees on the La Chua. They were obviously waiting for the sun as well!
I love it when it's difficult to choose which photo to blip. Today was one of those days. I've been uploading photos to My Blipfolio for you to see, should you have a mind to.
Oh, and this Beautiful Bird is a Great Blue Heron, of course :)
