Cat & Christmas tree

I accidentally took almost the exact same photo as yesterday, except Dad has been replaced by a cat.

Today was long and busy, and it started with me accidentally oversleeping because I was really tired. Mum and I went and looked at a couple of houses that are for lease in Fitzroy/Collingwood to try and get an idea of what might be available in January when Steph and I are planning on moving. The problem with looking at places now is that I like a couple of them and would gladly snap them up, but the timing isn't quite right yet.

In between looking at houses, Mum and I walked basically the entirety of Fitzroy because we both had shops we wanted to pop into. It was a lovely sunny morning so it was really nice wandering up and down Gertrude and Brunswick Streets, and it was also really nice to see some of the quieter backstreets of Fitzroy. I definitely can't wait to move there.

I had a rest this afternoon and then this evening went to a BBQ at my aunty's house. It was a pretty low-key thing and most of the evening was spent talking about sport (this always happens at Kennedy family get togethers), but I did get to hear some stories about the wild parties my other aunty apparently used to throw in the 197os. The more you know!

The cat in this photo is my aunty Helen's cat Polly and she is very pretty! I got a few lovely photos of her but I really wanted to get one of her near the Christmas tree. Luckily she posed in front of it just as we were leaving, and I got my shot. I really like this one!
