Early Christmas in Oz

Up early to head to Brisbane this morning to see Chris Lilley (a actor). He basically acts in a film called 'Ja'mie' and is dressed up as a girl in a private school. It is quite funny. We picked up Max in Coroy on the way to Brisbane. He stayed over at his friends house who had a bonfire and they all camped. Directed Lucy into the city with my sheets of paper with the map on! The queue to see Chris Lilley was huge. Jess and her friend Abby waited in the line for 3 hours altogether. We bumbled around the city until they called us. Took a video of Jess meeting him. There was an extreme gay guy who was getting far too excited...probably the gayest guy I have met so far in my life, haha. The whole thing definitely wasn't my scene!!
Got back to the house at 4. Lucy and I started to prepare our early Christmas dinner. We did roast potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots, turkey with a cranberry stuffing, yorkshire puddings and green beans. We laid the table really nicely and I put the macaroons on the table with icing sugar and strawberries. We all opened some presents before we ate and then kept some for after. Yummy yummy supper and the yorkshire puddings turned out really well. Finished opening all the presents. It was funny as Lucy opened a present and she read the note out on it. It said 'these will be useful for writing all your thank you letters'! I said to her that I think she might have opened a present that was for me!! Anyway, turned out that they were mine. Got some lovely presents from the Sayers. I got some little things from my family which was nice. Told Mother not to give me lots because I have no room in my bag. Max, Jess and I watched a couple of Ja'mie episodes.
