Dressed for the weather

We were out early digging ourselves a path, the snow was still gently falling....
We drove down our little road enjoying the quiet and the white beauty...many of the local horses were out with their winter coats on.

This beauty came up to the fence when I coaxed him, and I was very sorry I didn't have an apple for him!

The rest of the day will be inside finishing Christmas gifts...the entire family will be here all of next weekend for our holiday gathering.
