Bird Haven with winter colour in a drab Garden
I struggled with this one, for the winter blooms are so sparsely spread out on the bush near our main bird feeder. It is good to have them, though, as a little winter brightness for us, and a handy refuge bush for the small birds when the crows, woodpecker, pigeons and even a sparrow hawk come a-visiting.
The wind was cold and severe, making a sharp image a problem, with twitchingly cold fingers and a moving target. So I call it a 'soft focus picture', and make the best of it!
