A glorious day and we had to go to the Doca do Cavacas for lunch. They'd reserved us a table in prime position, under the red umbrellas. The food was wonderful as ever.

Since the storms subsided, it's been hot under the cloudless skies and there were even locals swimming in the lava pools you can see to the left and below the restaurant.

It's been a dream. But I'm off home in the morning.
