The last morning

As ever, a beautiful dawn over the bay.

I started with a swim and it's now "eating up time", getting ready to leave the apartment for 10.00 am.

It's been a marvellous week here in Funchal - better weather than we can rely on in December. Wonderful company - from established and new friends. Delicious meals, a marvellous Levada walk - and happy coffees and chat (and cakes).

And the excitement of knowing I'll be back next February.
