Alex

My son Alex who studies in New Zealand is with us now. It is wonderful to have him here although I did the classic Mum worrying thing when he came back late from a run yesterday evening. I mean he is over 30 now!! He and I are travelling to Trivandrum by train tomorrow as he is taking an exam for entrance to a US uni as he hopes to do his PhD with the person who heads up the Jane Goodall Institute there and this exam has to be taken as part of the general entrance ... He has completed his masters now and so we have been talking about his thoughts and plans for his next steps.

Anyway today we went to a small restaurant on the beach and here he is. I see us reflected in his glasses. I guess that is how we know ourselves at times by the way that our children reflect us. I am very proud of him
