Railings Day

Today was a significant day for John next door. He has been renovating the church. As part of that, he has been making the railings which will go round the property.

They are going in as they were originally. It took a number of conversations with planning authorities who had views on height and spacing between rails. Another test which John had to pass.

Each rail has to be tacked to the bar. John didn't know how to do that until he started. He is becoming proficient though he welds them underneath to hide his imperfections.
