Its beginning to feel...

I must be getting middle aged, I finally own and understand slippers.

It's their unsuitability as footwear that makes them wonderful. You wouldn't wear them to go up a ladder due to the flimsy sole. You wouldn't go out in the garden due to their lack of waterproofing. I could go on but I won't.

Basically when you put slippers on you know you are going to do absolutely nothing apart from put your feet up and open a bottle & a book.

I love my slippers.
