My mum

It's my mum's anniversary today - 13 years since she passed away. Time heals as they say but not completely and it seems harder this year coming so soon after my dad's anniversary.

She was a lovely, warm lady and a great mum.

This photo must have been taken in the 1950s when she was in her early 20s - very glamorous, and I still have the brooch and earrings somewhere.

Both her and my dad loved Christmas so after today I intend to cheer up and let the festivities commence!!
