Brarking News
It is with some considerable pleasure that The Boss wishes to introduce you to TheBossess.
This will not be a shot every day or even every week but a small start in The Bossess's photographic interest. Please understand that she is a very busy lady and it was only in a weak moment that she agreed to this at all altho she has been an avid watcher ever since WE started and is already known to a number of you. WOOF!!! (now your turn). I should point out that a large number of The Boss's images contain input from The Bossess. She has a good eye for a pic but is also terribly good at business stuff as well so please understand her occasional input here…Thanks.
It was before Kea Flatulence that The Boss grabbed gear and left the Motel to get a good vantage point as the sun was up, the clouds were down and all was very well with the world. This was because the wind had sifted to a Southerly which beats back the prevailing Northerly and does the business in the park. It also does wonderful things down stream as you can see above. By the time we were driving along the main highway again it was bucketing down but fined up by the time we got to Christchurch.
The colour in the cloud is of course the lake reflected and the lake colour is influenced by the material that comes off the Tasman Glacier. This is Lake Pukaki in the South Island and where the water from The Tasman Glacier ends up...Very special.
Comments will be a bit thin for a couple of days as we are hot spotting off the phone for the moment.
