First light

I had the privilege of standing and watching the first rays of sunlight appear over Castle Hill this morning. The photo does not in any way do the moment justice, it was stunning.

My retinas may take some time to recover.

I was determined today to not have to Blip a Christmas decoration at 10pm! Now, back to work - it must be nearly the weekend.

Oh belated film review - Catching Fire, it was excellent, a really good adaptation of the book, and just as good as the first one. Superb acting, except Josh Hutcherson, who is either brilliantly understated or just plain rubbish. I am assured though, that if one were a 17 year old girl, he would be irresistible. And we didn't bump into any of David's mates at the cinema in a different town.
