Fuel Poker

Need to get some Petrol soon so checking the Prices, this is the cheapest in town, a small chain, not owned by any of the big oil companies. Problem is to catch them when the fuel is cheapest, only a short window of 3 or 4 hours, usually midday. The Price can vary by as much as 8 Cents a litre, so worth watching. I use Super, which is 95 Octane, my car can run on the cheap E10, Bio fuel, but has poorer Performance and Fuel Economy, so I don't buy it. The Price of this is artificially lower that normal Petrol so that people will buy it, it hasn't worked. I understand you will be getting this rubbish in UK soon, good luck with it,we have had it for 3 years. Make sure that your car can use it without it destroying gaskets and fuel pumps, which it does. Most Japanese cars are ok, lots of quite modern Opel and VWs aren't.Suprisingly new Mercedes Sprinters can't either.
