At Kilpeck: Merely an actor in a play...
Life is like a play - we merely go through the stages of our life acting it out. Shakespeare, "As you like it"
Sam loves seeing behind the stage at Kilpeck Society's Pantomime. He watched the play last night with awe and admiration at the actors. I love watching my children's faces as they try to differentiate between the makeup, the costume, the voice and the real person beneath.
Panto is magical for children. It allows all the myths about grown ups to be broken down. That perhaps, grown ups are all about seriousness and work. That grown ups are too busy to make jokes, wear funny outfits, behave like clowns.
Sam can be a serious soul.
Going behind stage at the panto is very good medicine for him...x
