She Don't Care if it Rains nor Freezes.

The weather has been all over the map, except warm, but this little variegated Wallflower has decided to stay at the dance and look as pretty as she can. If you look carefully you will see a little magenta bud or two. The spot she is in has rocky soil, is shaded most of the day (not that it matters in this grey twilight we call December) and wouldn't seem to be especially inviting. She was a late season addition to the garden and was a gift from the nursery who had decided she was past her 'sell by date'. Perhaps this is her way of showing how grateful she is to have been rescued.
