O Christmas Tree!
We finally got the good old tree decorated. I tried a few things this year.
1) a smaller tree.
2) not being picky with this smaller tree.
3) putting christmas lights on vertically instead of running around the tree in circles over and over again.
Well! Next year I'm gonna get myself a big tree again. And I'm gonna be picky. And I'll probably put the lights on in circles again. haha.
It wasn't the way I dreamed. I haven't even taken a picture of it to share because the top is very charlie brown, and the bottom is very very bushy. Makes for an odd looking tree. the lights in a vertical decoration style versus horizontally by going around the tree in circles makes it look very un-even, you can see the wires a lot more and a lot more lights bunch up at the top of the tree where it blazes on the charlie brown emptiness of it. Oh well! I haven't said this to my other half because he could care less--but I'm obviously extremely disappointed in our tree this year. I also decorated it by myself which took the joy of decorating it at all out of it.
We had some pretty ornaments to put on it this year, though. This little one is my favorite. A special order from Nadilyn Beato. She's on Etsy and does some amazing artwork including prints of reptiles and fluffies, sculptures among other awesome things. She's very good at what she does. :)
