"Down The Street Today" ...

...Another warm day, and possibly a good day for a swim but no, not me, perhaps a paddle down at the Sandbar this evening, but today, we had to do some more shopping, and so here I'm sharing with you a capture of just part of our main street, on this day of almost 40degrees C.

...The big building you see there is a large bakery and is very popular, it used to be a very popular department store, but now it's a bakery...

...Most shoppers today were out at the main big shopping centre, which has been built over the last 30 years..and air conditioned, but still, in the main shopping mall here, it can still be so busy - even on the hottest of days..

...The heat doesn't stop the shoppers from getting about - I think I was the only one with a hat on though..

...At lunch time we called to see our lovely young Chinese friends who have a restaurant and whom we've know for some time, and we had one of their Chinese specials for lunch..always so kind they are and gave us a large bottle of spring water each as "It's very hot out there today for you"... they always give us a gift whether it be winter or summer..so kind..
