Bearded Iris

This day we took a road trip to Oamaru - a coastal town about 2 hours north along the coast from Dunedin. My sister and her husband traveled in their hire car and Mother, Robbie and I went in our trusty Mazda Demio. We went up to lunch with an aunt and uncle and enjoy a catch up before the silly season is upon us. It is the aunts birthday two days later so took some presents with us.

Stopped off at my favourite beach - Katiki Beach - so that the canine could have a good run. What a happy wee dog. So much to do and so free that he was beside himself trying to cover everything. We all enjoyed a walk along the beach breathing deeply of the sea air and picking up interesting stones and in my case looking for blippable fodder.

An earlier stop in Waikouaiti for a toilet break for the canine actual provided the choice for this days Blip although there were plenty of contenders.....
