Carnation Droplets
This is by nature of being something of an experiment, using glycerine droplets to adorn flowers which I suspect may be repeated and developed in the future. It's an experiment that I did not have time to carry out adequately so my eventual image is a blend of two exposures, one at f22 and one at f4.5 as I did not have all the droplets sharp in the f4.5 exposure. The backdrop is an 'out of focus' vase of carnations from which the bloom was plucked.
Having just upgraded to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5.3, I was also playing with the some of the new tools in Lightroom. I really like the new radial tool which I found useful to really spotlight the bloom.
