In the bleak mid-winter ..

.. frosty winds have been making moan quite a lot today!

I had to be around at home this afternoon - to take delivery of a parcel and a raised toilet seat - oh, the glamour!

So, to take a blip photo, I popped into the park on the way back from shopping this morning. I visited the big walk-through aviary, and all the little birds (mostly canaries) were frantically flying back and forth as a kestrel dive bombed the roof!

My blip bird is a white cheeked turaco - I love them. Sometimes they're shy and retiring, but today they were curious and stood so close to me it was hard to take a photo with my long lens!
