Don't hold me back.

End-of-term-exhaustion combined with viral bugs do not a good combination make. Add to the mix the fact that my children are possibly the worst patients in the world and the results aren't pretty. The effect on my pre-Christmas-over-stretched nerves this evening didn't prove sparkling.

There was only one thing for it... an M&S tea, and by golly nothing was going to change my mind, not the wind nor the thrashing rain. Good thing was the inclement weather made other less determined souls stay away and what a bounty of yellow stickers lay before me! With soggy thighs and freezing hands I returned home with a hearty Turkish soup and German bread tea... salve for the seasonal stresses indeed.
