Cave Drawings

I had to use the oldest version of this strip because I thought the joke was so bad that I didn't redraw it when I got the job at the newspaper. I was playing with the idea that the reader wouldn't know for a long time, if ever, whether or not Zen was gay - I ultimately decided this didn't matter and that Zen's real purpose was to needle Tad.

I guess I should explain that each one of these strips has seven versions of it, redrawn over the years as I got new cartooning jobs and my ability and technology improved. I thought about just using the best stuff, but part of this is going through the origins so I am forcing myself to show it warts and all.
