To Get Prepared

I showed to you a blip of the outside of a photograph album This was made and prepared by my great uncle James Gordon Wood (1888-1974) to tell something of his experiences in the First World War.

I will be starting to open this album round about the beginning of the centenary of the outbreak of war next year.

In the meantime however here is a picture of the valiant man himself outside Buckingham Palace flanked by his sisters Maud and May.
