Winter Sunset

It seems the sunsets have been more dramatic recently. Maybe it's due to the fact the sun goes down earlier than in the summer, so I'm more likely to see it. Or maybe it's due to the "cold," dryer weather.

Speaking of that "cold" weather, the first graders were making me laugh this week. They were saying it was too cold to go swimming; that they were going to get sick. Mind you, this "cold" weather has been a comfortable 27-31*C/80-90*F. But seriously, the kids (and some teachers) are coming to school wearing sweaters, and one student brought gloves. I don't know what they would do if they traveled somewhere where it really gets cold.
