Xmas... Take 1

An early Christmas for one little boy and girl this morning and by the squeals of delight the presents were a success. This is Z. opening his present from G'ma and Poppy.
Followed by a lovely late breakfast of ham, eggs, pancakes with champagne and juice to keep the adults relaxed, the day has got off to a good start. The weather is perfect, though very,very hot. Lots of sunscreen and hats are the order of the day.
The kids and parents have gone off to spend a couples of hours at the beach while the oldies chill out.
The plan for late afternoon is for J. to make cocktails (Sidecars - very yummy but rather deadly) and then I'm doing a roast dinner etc for tonight. Brandied fruits in mini Pavlovas with cream for dessert for some of us, and plum pudding for SIL who apparently wont' like the Brandied Fruits. Choclates, Grand Marnier and coffee for afters (if we last that long).
Xmas Take 2 on the 25th in a few days time when D. gets home.
