Come Lord Jesus Come

Mass with mum tonight, at the Saturday vigil service for the fourth Sunday in Advent. This church in Bannockburn holds so many memories for me. I was married there almost 39 years ago, as were my parents in 1949. When I'm there I can almost see and hear my late father reading from the pulpit as he so often did. It was a beautiful service tonight. I like the advent season, so full of promise and anticipation of good things to come.
