From Waipu to Tapu

We left Waipu and headed round to Tapu, stopping en route at Thames for some provisions (and some christmas decs for the van...!)
The camper van site in Tapu was tucked out of the way and we were the only ones there. The site had a swimming hole and an outdoor pizza oven. We went for a quick dip in the swimming hole then fired up the pizza oven. We had to improvise pizza as we only had muffins, pasta sauce and cheese but they were not too bad! Washed down with our first bottle of NZ wine, it was most pleasant!
