Winter sun

Driving up from Lancaster, I found myself unexpectedly needing to wear my sunglasses and singing along with one of the Christmas songs for this week's radio show: suddenly all was well with the world. It's amazing the way a bright sunny day can lift you spirits even if they weren't particularly low in the first place.

Arriving at the office I realised that it would be dark when I left, so I needed to take a photo there and then. The view down the river, southwards, was gorgeous but the low winter sun made taking a decent picture pretty much impossible, so this was the best I could manage!
