TOUCHDOWN!

Finally arrived after a long long wait at JFK departure gate. I was the first person through security and just crashed down on the seats by the gate a full 4 hours before the flight departed. I got talking another traveller called Oli who was just returning from the UK back to his job as a Scuba diving instructor on an island called Saba. A cool guy who has an incredibly enviable job.

The flight was same old same old (on an ancient plane. I think the Wright brothers probably built and flew this plane before American Airlines got hold of it) and when I landed in St. Maarten, Kris, Phil (Kris' brother) and Libby (Phil's girlfriend) were just an hour behind me so I didn't have to wait at all which was perfect timing.

After that we hopped over to Anguilla and met up with Kris' parents. Some relaxed drinks on the terrace and then we popped round the corner to check out this sunset and then on to a restaurant for the evening meal.

Quite a day.

Peace

These 3 weeks are going to force me to expand my photographic eye. 21 Blips of sunsets will get tiring, even if I'd never tire of seeing them. Bring only a 50mm and a 70-300 for myDSLR wasn't a great shout, but it's gonna force me to get creative.
