The Bannockburn

The days should be getting longer and it's downhill all the way to summer. It didn't feel like it today as Idid my customary Sunday walk up by the Swanswater Fishery. I contended with hail, rain, wind and the very occasional dry spell. I met 2 other dog walkers, one surly, the other cheerful ( ie the owners , not the dogs) but even the hardiest of fishermen had decided to stay indoors.
This is the Bannockburn near Bramble Bridge, the water higher than of late but still not as full as I expected after the recent rain.
