First Celebration of the Season

Our friends from Yorkshire braved the elements to drive up today for our annual Christmas dinner. In the past we have gone out for meals or even hired a cottage for a weekend, but like last year we are hosting again, it's just easier. Orla is always happy to see "my pals" and Conor was also his usual friendly self. Dinner was beetroot and citrus-cured salmon with rye bread and a celeriac slaw for starters, followed by roast duck with apple & rosemary stuffing, gravy, roast potatoes, braised red cabbage and kale with pomegranate seeds for mains. For dessert we had chocolate and hazelnut pavlova. It was great to see everyone.
