Sums up today!
Stuck at home for most of the day, the rain and wind was relentless, leading to mopping up a number of window sills. The female holly trees over the road in the churchyard were being visited by blackbirds, thrushes and redwings, but conditions were too bad to try to get photos. The sagging Christmas lights in the window represent a sort of hiatus, when it feels as though Christmas preparations have gone on too long - there will probably be a new-found energy and excitement with Christmas Eve tomorrow! The mail box, glimpsed through the window, represents the slight irritation of waiting in for deliveries. All in all, probably a typical 23rd December. HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
