Nearly Christmas

The forecasters had it right today:- once we got back from shopping the winds ramped up and the heavens opened; the wheelie bins started to walk round the garden and the chimney rattled; Joey went outside to do the things a cat has to do, but charged in a few minutes later soaked to the skin.

So this was a day for staying dry and warm inside, and playing with an early Christmas present. I finally decided I needed a decent flash gun, so use my Christmas money toward a Canon 430ex II. Having never used an external flash before, I read the manual - but have decided this might take some time to work out.
