8:30pm and in the car heading to the hospital.
After the latest ID@KCC video made it's premiere at KCC this morning (didn't they do well!) it was a quiet afternoon at home while the weeWeir was at a party and then getting ready for her Girls Brigade Carols by Candelight service.
In the midst of all that the wee-estWeir's breathing became a bit more laboured and concern levels rose. A wee visit from the family Nurse Practitioner, a call to NHS 24 and up to out-of-hours GP service with him.
I took the weeWeir to her carol service (revisiting the church building that Mrs theWeir and I were married in fourteen years ago) returned her home, then bedtime done. Packed a few things in a bag and headed up to the hospital to see the now-diagnosed-with-Bronchiolitis wee man.
Deep joy.
A naso-gastric tube is not ideal for anyone, but a 11 week old baby? No thanks.
Much praying and many cuddles.
Home for bedtime and to let MiL head home too.
Nothing stands still.
