Bus journey

My husband had the car today, so I caught the bus and met a friend and then went on to do some last minute Christmas shopping. The bus soon filled up with other last-minute shoppers. There was the girl behind me who was on the phone, trying to make her Christmas arrangements: '....but I have to go home, like, my mum's told me I got to be there....' and the couple who were in front checking through their shopping list. I love bus journeys, the hassle taken out of the travelling and the chance to sit and watch and listen to the life around me.
