Downtown, Alamo & Pizza

A pretty cool day downtown taking in the sights and sounds.

First up was the Alamo which was pretty cool and educational, and for something so iconic in the state of Texas it's not very big. Followed by a stroll around the beautiful river walk.

Next we went to Big Lou's Pizza Place for our dose man v food. We ordered the 42" cheese pizza to share between 4 of us. I'd love to tell you that man won but sadly we were defeated in glorious fashion. We managed a slice over half way!

For the size of the pizza it was surprisingly delicious. And that's breakfast, lunch and dinner covered for the next 2 days.
