Christmas Eve

Mum came back early with Kanye, he's sick, when he gets sick he really goes down. He had no fat on him and his immune system takes a hit daily with all his meds. Tonight after his shower he fell asleep on the couch at 6.

One of these pics shows Harper sitting with mum. I gave him to her while I did something then when I came back he was super relaxed just slumped down staring off into space, he sat there for 20 minutes.

I went down to edgeware shops and grabbed some fruit, veg, last bits and pieces for lunch tomorrow.

I had a busy afternoon my friends came over and brought me scorched almonds which I can tell you are now all gone.

Before Marley went to bed he set out some biscuits and water ( Santa needed water he said) and wrote him a note with dads help, then he set our the reindeer food he made at school.


After we put the boys to bed mama and dada elf got to work. Andre brought Marleys new bike from Santa inside and then made boot prints on the ground and carpet using flour in an icing sugar shaker.

We spread dirt all over the courtyard (it's Christchurch it's full of roadworks and dirt which of course fell off the sleigh and reindeer as they landed) and made sleigh tracks and hoof prints. I tied some tinsel to the pole where Mar put the reindeer food and with some clay I bought I made little reindeer poo pellets. Andre ate the biscuit and left half with a few crumbs and wrote a thank you note to Mar.

It's meant to rain tonight and tomorrow so the outside part will get destroyed but we took pictures so the boys can see.

I finished wrapping presents and am watching you've got mail.
