Craig picked up his last bits of missed mail this morning, he came back with this. It's a rain belt. Looks like a belt wrapped up, unravels to cover the tops of the thighs. Recommended for both cyclists and jockeys apparently!

Managed to pick up a box of Christmas crackers for 2.50 in Peacocks (of all places!), cleaned the house, cleaned the window Minerva slides down and gleefully smears, played a bit of monopoly and finally finished and hung the glittered saltdough shapes.

Craig's parents arrived around 3ish, we had a nice afternoon chatting and catching up. Haven't seen them since May, I genuinely don't know where this year has gone. I also made a trifle and some mincemeat whirls for tomorrow. Ended up having fish & chips from the Chippy, first time I've broken my tradition of turkey & mayo sandwiches! Rounded off the night watching Dave Gorman and The IT Crowd.
