I SAW THREE SHIPS

Out and about early this morning.
I left the good lady preparing the big meal
and went down the beach for half an hour,
before the girls and other guest awoke.
Windy , but sea was surprisingly calm.
I worked the top end of the beach
on the north side of the Don estuary.
A lot of blowing sand and by the time I left
the beach was busy with dog walkers.
I was surprised that many boats were still coming in,
although not the usual early morning rush hour.
I took a number of panoramas
this one a six shot vertical stitcher.
The dawn was more colourful later but I liked this one for the content.
