What it's all about
What money can't buy - well not everything in the photo - but much of it.
Charlotte's 2014 calendar, monster and card for "Anglie"; Elliot's drawings for Flash & "Looney"; Oxford Lunch & Barry's Tea bags; toys & chews for the dogs - Luna's Frisbee had already disappeared,; cards including one of Corfe Castle from a fellow Bliper. A special card of the bees on the bee journal.
Thank you all so very much, you know who you are.
Now sitting down early evening to my second half liter of Barry's Tea (the first one is in a grey stone beer mug in the Blip). Been a very quiet day, Angie having had a miserable night with toothache - I didn't see her until she arose at midday (not sure I have ever witnessed her getting up so late). I had mucked out the horses and was about to walk the dogs but then Angie appeared and said she wanted to get out a bit and went for a ride with Rosie and the the dogs. I fell asleep on the sofa, still getting over my 3 large glasses of red wine last night.
Spoke with the children in Ireland - they are having a whiteish Christmas. J's better half Sarah had to stay in England as she is doing night duty at the A&E of a south England coastal hospital - seems the weather dampened the Christmas Eve "spirits" and thereby the workload on normally a busy night. Hope you have another quiet night Sarah and that J's flight tomorrow from Dublin to Gatwick happens, despite the chaos and backlogs.
Our weather still can't make it's mind up. Been watching some TV news of the area I used to live around Godalming - quite incredible. Hope the feared rain in the next days doesn't materialise.
Now time to prepare the horse's beds, strengthened by my Barry's Tea.......
